volunteer groups

Volunteer Groups at NDG consist of a minimum of six people- all of whom come to volunteer, experience the Guatemalan culture and people, and go on wonderful adventures. Being part of a Volunteer Group is a great opportunity to enhance your understanding of Niños de Guatemala’s mission and help build a better future for the next generation of Guatemalans! We welcome Volunteer Groups with open arms, from medical groups to human rights groups. We can tailor your volunteer experience for you!

WHAT DOES A GROUP VOLUNTEER TRIP LOOK LIKE?

Each group must assign a group leader who works closely with Niños de Guatemala’s Volunteer Team to design the their trip, manage the arrangements, and provide fundraising support.
The donation includes accommodation, meals, cultural and adventure activities, translation services, local transportation and private transportation to and from the airport. Flight tickets, health insurance and pocket money are not included. All team members must be 18 years or older, or in the case of minors, have written permission of parents. Volunteer Group fees start at $650 for a week experience!

If you are interested in being part of a volunteer group, or bringing down your own group, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Volunteer & Groups Manager, Carlota Morales, at volunteer@ninosdeguatemala.org
